Description
The Oroville Tunnel Portal was created at the time of the building of the Oroville Damn in California. It was a very busy line during the building of the damn. A horrific accident took place there in the 60’s in which two trains hit head on at the tunnel entrance. The tunnel portal is still there as far as I know unless it was destroyed from the flood there in 2017.
Here is the version without the retaining walls. It was decided to provide it without the walls as it is indicative of many modern tunnel portals that exist.
SH & W does provide this portal with the retention walls also.
